Excuses. You won't need them here!
We have heard them all anyway.
Excuses suck! You choose to use them or you choose to get on with it. You are never too old, to tired, too busy, too poor or too overweight to get into the exercise habit. Everyone knows it's good for you. Everyone knows the benefits, but we still come up with lame excuses not to do it. Here's what we think of them here at backtofront.
IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE. Well not here! You don't need the gym membership or the latest fitness gear to go with it. You don't need to buy any equipment or fork out for a personal trainer. You don't even need to waste money on petrol! Everything you need is right here at a price you can afford and real value for money.
I'M TOO BUSY. Now that is a real problem for a lot of people for sure given that modern lifestyle patterns are a bit hectic, but IF you want to do it then make the time. Get up 15 mins earlier and have a YOGAcise moment. Fit in 10 mins of sitting exercise while your at work. Do 20 mins of JOGercise at lunch or before you sit down after work. Put those together and you have done a balanced, 45 minute workout by the time you go to bed! There are many solutions you can choose from, just think backtofront!
I'M TOO TIRED. The more time you can include into your day for exercise, the less tired you will feel! Energy levels will be increased and maintained throughout the day, sleep patterns will improve and that sluggish 'can't be bothered' attitude will take a back seat.
I DON'T NEED TO EXERCISE, I'M ON THE GO ALL DAY! Maybe you are but what does that mean? If you have a very physical job that takes your heart rate up on a regular basis and uses muscular force and strength then maybe your right. If not, you are kidding yourself.
I'M TOO FAT! No you're not, sorry you can't use that one either. Yes it may be harder to start because you are carrying extra bits around with you but any exercise can be modified to help you get moving. If you can't find a backtofront solution just contact us and we will be on your case!
I'M TOO OLD. The body goes through it's natural aging process but it benefits from exercise no matter when you start. Balance, muscle strength, coordination, bone strength, vitality and mental fitness all contribute to a well deserved and enjoyable retirement.
There are more excuses where these came from, but at the same time, there are more answers too. It all depends on whether you really want to do something or not, and that applies to anything in life not just exercise. If the answer is yes I do, then backtofront is a good place to start!
