Looking through the blue window.

Paul Knight - Wednesday, May 12, 2010

The other morning was a typical English one. I looked out of the lounge window and saw a nice blue(ish) sky with a hint of sunshine poking through. I walked to the other side of the house to make my early morning cuppa. The sky was grey in there! Mmm I thought, what is the weather going to be like today? I sat in the lounge and planned my day. When I had finished my tea I had spent 10 mins looking at the blue and my mind was in a positive mood. Which window would you have looked out of?

Its only a problem if I say it is!

I could have been on a downer, a grey day in my head making small problems become bigger. Head down with my grumpy glasses on. Instead I had a good day, infact very productive. I found something I thought I had lost, made a contact through a friend of a friend who could helped me develop an idea for this website and did an extra 10 minutes on my run.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes it's hard to shake out the grey feelings, we are only human and the brain is a powerfull machine, but changing the window in which we see the world is an option we all can take.
